Autumn squash grand final
3/07/2008 | In another great Autumn Grand Final of squash, some very close games took place. Mark Silk, Brian Denahy, Nick Thomson and .Darren Stephens defeated Matt Corkhill, Julie Dymock, Roger Mason and Andrew Southwell 20 points to 101. Games were equal T7al1.
BCS excel in Cross Country
26/06/2008 | Boorowa Central School sent an awesome team of cross country runners to the Western Area Trials held at Wellington on Wednesday 11 June. The team had a very successful day. Chris Turner competed first up on the day in the 16yrs race with his training paying off. He finished in ninth position – a creditable result in a fast field over six kilometres. The 14 year olds ran together.
Under 8s trounce Adelong
19/06/2008 | The mighty Boorowa/Harden under 8s made the trek to Adelong last Saturday and came up with their best performance of the season, thumping the Tigers 42-18.
Central Schools Riverina Regional Touch gala day
5/06/2008 | Boorowa Central School hosted six other central schools from around the Riverina Region last week in a magnificent day of touch. Teams from Braidwood, The Rock, Coolamon, Quandialla, Ariah Park and Boorowa contested the U16 boys and girls touch to earn the right to play at the Central schools finals in august at Dubbo.

29/05/2008 | Under 8s The mighty Boorowa/Harden under 8s took on mortal enemy Young last Saturday and came away with a hard fought win. Although both teams scored five tries apiece the locals superior goal kicking handed them the win.
22/05/2008 | The Boorowa Goldies were defeated 37-5 by Crookwell on Saturday. In cold and difficult conditions, Boorowa conceded points early on which put them on the back foot for the rest of the game. Last minute team changes combined with some experience from Crookwell left the Goldies with few answers in the opening exchanges.
15/05/2008 | Under 6s In the first half Jai Allison took position as goalie. Boorowa Tyre Service kept the ball up the opposition’s side with a couple of attempts just missing. Charles Webb scored the first goal. Second half saw William Wales in the goalie’s position. Charles Webb scoring two more goals making the score 3-0. All players had a great game and spread out through the field. Good luck next week.
SWD Ladies Scratch Golf Comp
15/05/2008 | PITT STREET: The cold and blustery weather last Wednesday did not deter the South West District ladies from invading the Boorowa Golf Club. Over 90 ladies competed in the scratch event, braving wind and rain. The Ladies Golf Club would like to make special thanks to the spotters, groundsmen, kitchen ladies and the starter for helping to make it a great day of golf.
Boorowa Goldie’s Sponsors’ Day
8/05/2008 | The Boorowa Goldie’s held a Sponsors’ Day on Saturday 3 May for their first home game of the 2008 Rugby Union Season. A short presentation was held prior to the game for the sponsors to present their jersey to the players.
