Brisbane Lions assistant Paul Hudson and football operations manager Marcus Ashcroft have left the club in the first stage of new senior coach Michael Voss' restructuring process.
Hudson, who worked with the Lions' forward division and coached the reserves as part of his responsibilities on the coaching panel, was not offered an extension to the two-year contract he signed at the end of 2006
Ashcroft has been replaced by Graeme (Gubby) Allan who moves from his current position as head of recruiting and list management to a new role heading up the football department.
Unfortunately, this results in Ashcroft's position being redundant.
Ashcroft joined Brisbane's coaching set-up in 2006 after a playing career which included 318 games for the Bears and Lions. He also won three premierships.
